Weeks 13 & 14

After a productive and refreshing university break, the team is back for the second half of the year, and we’ve hit the ground running. The break gave us valuable time to experiment, rapidly prototype, and test out some of our key concepts. While many of these early iterations didn’t go as planned (as prototypes often don’t!), each failed attempt taught us something valuable. These lessons are now shaping a stronger, more refined version of our device.
It’s been incredibly energising to move from theory into hands-on building. Seeing our ideas come to life has sparked new motivation across the team, especially as we continue shaping a solution that’s meaningful and empowering for the low vision community.
Our goal is to complete our minimum viable product (MVP) by Week 4, and from there, gather feedback from our community to guide improvements for the final version. We’re also preparing for our third project audit in Week 4 which is another milestone that’s keeping us sharp and focused.
We are truly grateful to everyone who has supported and engaged with Project Ver so far. Your feedback, encouragement, and insights are what drive this project forward.
