Weeks 21 & 22

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind! With only two weeks left of the project, we’ve been hard at work putting the finishing touches on our device, documenting our progress, and developing our final pitch video for the upcoming project showcase. It’s been an intense but incredibly rewarding phase as everything comes together.

We’re now thrilled to present our final device; a pin camera module that also includes a lanyard hook, giving users the flexibility to wear it in whichever way suits them best. The pin is controlled through a wristband controller featuring two tactile buttons: a dome-shaped record button and a raised-line reset button. Both the wristband form factor and the lanyard integration were direct outcomes of feedback we received during our testing day with Guide Dogs Victoria. These refinements have helped us design a product that is not only functional but genuinely user-informed, and we couldn’t be prouder of the result.

As we move into the final two weeks, our focus is on sharing our journey and showcasing what we’ve built. We’re very excited to release our final pitch presentation soon. Stay tuned for the link in our next update!

Thank you, as always, for following along and supporting Project Ver. Your encouragement means the world to us.
