Week 6

This week our team concluded the formal handover process of reviewing the repository from the previous year’s team. We have gone through all information in their repository and developed an index of items with a summary so that we may quickly find critical information from the previous year when we need to. Now that we have a better understanding of the work done by the previous team, we are better equipped to continue with the next iteration of the project.  

We have also been continuing our initial stakeholder reach out this week. We have successfully contacted several stakeholders from the previous iteration of the project and have already completed the first few meetings with more planned for next week. It has been exciting to update our stakeholders on the work completed by last year’s team and get their input on what we hope to achieve this year. It has also been very valuable for use to understand the requirements of our stakeholders, which we have been documenting in preparation for the next phase of the project where we narrow our scope into three use cases for the next iteration of the Ver device. 

Our next steps will be to continue our stakeholder engagement by reaching out to our remaining pre-existing stakeholders as well as identifying new stakeholders whom we may reach out to also.
